I am thrilled to announce the finalists for the 5th annual Microsoft Security Excellence Awards 2024, presented by the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). These awards honor MISA members from a global field of industry leaders that demonstrated innovation and success across the security landscape during the past 12 months. As we have noted the past few days, Senserva and Microsoft announced we are a Security ISV of the Year and Endpoint Management Trailblazer finalist in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards!
As a recap, it's great to be nominated by Microsoft for these awards and thank you to the Microsoft MISA team, our partners and the members of Senserva. It is a great way to show how we support our customers.
The past year we all worked with Microsoft and our partners to create automation with Microsoft security products to help companies of all sizes get and stay more secure.
There is much to manage, one improper configuration, one machine not properly setup, one user without MFA and risk increases.
For MSSPs risks are managed across many tenants and customers, making the task that much harder and automation that much more important.
Senserva builds with the Microsoft security products and Microsoft focused security services providers to provide customers a unified solution. This combined team brings together all the Microsoft security products into one management database and one user interface so MSSPs like Bulletproof and CWSI can more easily identify misconfigurations and risks across multiple tenants.
The risks and challenges of the past are of course still here as well, such as patch management and AV, with a many more added in. In addition, things like Azure provide a nearly infinite way to create advanced IT systems in a few minutes, and the results need to be properly created and managed. I can create a full network with VMs and services in about an hour by pushing buttons in Azure, and I can build templates and scripts to repeat it over and over. But to properly secure it takes a little longer and is much harder.
Cloud and on-prem tie together and they need to be managed together with Cloud based things that include support for on-prem like Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Azure Entra ID, security focused providers like Bulletproof and ISVs like Senserva.
There are also infinitely more security products available and AI driven things like Microsoft Copilot for Security are soon to be here, and 1000s more people using them as well. Automation like the kind we are building is more important than ever to stay current and to tie the security of today with the continued risks from the past. Also building on what Microsoft and its partners are doing is more important than ever, when combined a powerful end-to-end security management solution is created. We are all committed to security and are impactful in the security space.
Within these busy times, with all the smart people and great products to be recognized by Microsoft as finalist for Security ISV of the Year and Endpoint Management Trailblazer is a life-time achievement award for me as well as an honor for the recent and long-term work our team and partners have done for the industry around customer security automation.
